The beaches in Kefalonia are some of the nicest beaches in the world. In fact 10 of the beaches have been awarded
Blue Flag status. The beaches are all different too. Some have pebbles, others sand, some a mixture, red sand, white sand, calm water, wavy. The scenery is always changing too. At some beaches you get views of other islands such as Zakynthos and Ithaca. It's just amazing to swim there. And because the water is so salty, it's really easy to float!
